The Kopenhagen Classic Gents has a number of key features that make it such a pleasure to ride:

Our Kopenhagen Classic Dutch-style GentS cycle comes with a traditionally lugged and brazed hand-built frame, which ensures a relaxed and ultra posture-friendly cycling experience at all times – widely referred to as sit-up-and-beg style. This gives a high vantage point from which you can view the traffic, as well as making it easy to look behind you and soak in all of the sights and sounds of your surroundings as you cycle past. This upright riding position means no stress on the lower back or shoulders – it’s as comfortable as sitting in a chair!
The frame comes in three sizes – 54/57/61 cm – so you can choose what fits your height perfectly.
An optional Velorbis own sprung leather saddle in a choice of two colors will gradually mold itself to your own shape, giving the perfect seat. Alternatively, a gel saddle in black or brown has a natural softness to give a great ride.
Top-quality Schwalbe tires are 50 mm wide to give extra comfort and suspension over bumps and lumps in the road. They come in a choice of brown, cream, or black. The tires use Kevlar anti-puncture technology and have built-in reflectors on the tire walls.
The iconic diamond-shaped frame, fork, mudguards, chain guard and wheel rims can be coloured to your own specification from a choice of over 200 colours.

Are you looking for a nicely integrated front carrier? Our range of front carriers and crates can withstand a cargo load of up to an incredible 25 kg. The range of Velorbis bicycle front carriers is Velorbis’ own design, made of aluminum, and has an exclusive wooden base. Even if it is loaded with heavy cargo, your bike remains easy to balance. The secret to our easy to steer crates and carriers is the fact that it is attached to the frame and not the handlebars, so it does not move when you turn the handlebars.
The wheelset has been equipped with lightweight alloy rims and stainless steel spokes and a luxurious leather mud flap in three optional leather colours that all match the similar coloured Velorbis leather saddles and Velorbis leather grips.
Traditional classic-style commuter bicycles tend to be heavier than carbon bikes, racer bikes, mountain bikes, etc. Kopenhagen Classic Gents has been produced with our traditionally lugged and brazed hand-built frames made of the highest quality German steel. The Kopenhagen Classic Gents bike is not only beautiful, but it’s also practical too!

Enclosing the gears protects you and your bicycle from all types of weather. Hence, they involve much lower maintenance than the derailleur systems found on most bikes. Another advantage of internal gears is that they are very simple on the outside and come with a chain guard. This is a much cleaner option, allowing you to ride in any clothing you choose rather than having to wear specialist cycle gear. Kopenhagen Classic Gents comes with Shimano Nexus internal gears and is available in single, three or seven-speed options. The seven-speed bikes have two brake options: 1) Choose either the Scandinavian style (back) pedal brakes, a.k.a. coaster brakes, or 2) choose the two-handlebar brakes option, where we have replaced the rear pedal brake with a roller brake hub, allowing freewheeling.
Depending on what you generally need to carry, there are plenty of luggage-carrying options for the Kopenhagen Classic Gents:

Velorbis’ own designed and Danish-made rear carrier. The rear carrier has an innovative bag hook on the side so that you can carry your Velorbis leather laptop bag on the side of your bicycle. A special anti-theft locking mechanism ensures that your leather bag is securely held in place when cycling.
A range of exclusive front carriers or crates (high, low)
Four different, spacious, and iconic baskets so your shopping, briefcase, or gym kit can be transported with ease.
Enclosing the chain in a semi or fully-enclosed chain cover and equipping the Kopenhagen Classic Gents with mudguards and leather mud flaps means that you arrive at your destination free from splashes, oil, or dirt from the road.

Finally, the double kick-stand gives your Kopenhagen Classic extra stability when parked.
